Terms and Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing a ticket. By purchasing a ticket from Girly District, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions relate both to the sale of tickets and attendance at events. These Terms and Conditions apply to both the original purchaser and any subsequent ticketholders (“you”).
Variation to Terms and Conditions
Girly District may vary these Terms and Conditions at any time by updating them. Any variations will only apply to ticket purchases made after these Terms and Conditions have been updated.
Ticket Purchases
Events may be subject to age restrictions. It is your responsibility to check the event purchase page for confirmation of any age restrictions and requirements. If an event is 18+ you must agree prior to purchasing tickets that you are 18+ as you will be required to present a legal form of photo ID at the event entry.
Tickets are only valid if purchased through www.girlydistrict.com.
Ticket sales may be limited to a specified number of tickets. Girly District may cancel or refuse to accept orders which it believes are placed in excess of any such limits.
Once confirmed, your ticket and any booking fee will not be refunded or exchanged.
Pricing and Payment
All prices quoted are in Euros and include VAT and booking fee.
Prices are subject to change without notice.
A booking fee may apply to your ticket purchase and you will be notified of the applicable fee prior to purchase.
You warrant that you have the authority to make payment for your ticket and that you own/hold or have express permission of the owner/holder of the credit card used to purchase the ticket.
User Account
Prior to purchasing a ticket through the Girly District website, you may be required to register for a user account and to nominate an email address and password for your account. You must maintain the confidentiality and security of your user account (including your password) and not provide it to any other person.
You are responsible for your use of the Girly District website and all transactions conducted using your account.
System Errors
While Girly District takes all reasonable care to ensure that tickets are correctly priced and only available for sale when intended, sometimes errors may occur. Girly District may cancel an order made as a result of any such error, although in the case of a pricing error Girly District will endeavour to contact you to give you the option of purchasing the ticket at the correct price.
Customer Errors
If an error on your behalf results in Girly District reprocessing the ticket transaction at your request, Girly District may charge to you the actual costs incurred in reprocessing the ticket transaction, including any chargeback fees charged to Girly District.
Without limiting other remedies, Girly District may limit, suspend, or terminate the account of users who are acting inconsistently with these Terms and Conditions, including in particular the accounts of users who we believe are harassing, threatening or abusing our employees or other users or who act in an unlawful or inappropriate manner.
Delivery and Printing of Tickets
Delivery of tickets will only be made upon receipt of full payment. Your ticket will be delivered via email.
You can present your ticket via self-print or downloaded on a mobile device, then:
a) in the event that a duplicate copy of this ticket appears, Girly District reserves the right to request proof of identity and proof of purchase. Unauthorised duplicate ticket holders will be refused entry to the Venue; and
b) you are responsible for printing the ticket and Girly District reserve the right to charge an administration fee if a replacement ticket needs to be issued.
Lost or Stolen Tickets
Where tickets are lost or misplaced, Girly District may charge an administration fee to issue replacement tickets and may require proof of identity and purchase, prior to issuing a replacement ticket.
Conditions of Entry
Attendance at the event and the right of admission is reserved by Girly District, Venue and Operator.
Admission to an event is subject to Girly District’s Terms. In particular, the following form part of the Girly District’s terms unless otherwise specified:
By attending an event, you must you agree, where applicable you are 18+ and adhere to the Venue’s/Operator’s terms and conditions of entry.
Where an event is classified as 18+, you will be required to present a legal form of photo ID at the event entry.
You may be denied entry into, or removed from, an event where there is reasonable grounds to do so, including if you breach these Terms and Conditions or you are intoxicated, under the influence of illicit drugs, inappropriately attired or adversely affecting the enjoyment of the event by others.
The use of photographic, recording and video devices of any kind (including mobile phones)
are only permitted where photo, recording and video are credited to Girly District. This includes all forms of social media.
You may be required to submit to a search of your person and/or possessions before entering the event ie bags and possessions may be inspected prior to admission.
By attending the event, you and each attendee in your group acknowledge and agree that you each may be filmed and/or recorded and you each give permission to Girly District to use your image, likeness and voice obtained at the event in all media throughout the world for any purpose and without any compensation.
You agree to comply with Venue/Operator directions, orders and regulations relevant to attending live events, which may be in place at the time of the event.
You are responsible for knowing the contact details of all attendees in your group.
When attending the event, you and each attendee in your group agree to assume all risks associated with COVID-19 or other such communicable diseases.
You may be refused entry or required to leave if you do not comply with the Venue’s/Operator’s terms and conditions of entry. Tickets will not be exchanged or refunded in these circumstances.
Copyright & Defamation Policy
You may only submit content to Girly District platform ("User Content") where you have the rights to do so. In particular, you:
a) may not use Girly District platform to unlawfully transmit copyrighted material (including articles, images, stories and software) without a license, express consent, valid defence or fair use exemption to do so;
b) must ensure that the content you upload does not infringe the copyright or any other rights of third parties (such as privacy or publicity rights); and
c) must not upload any content to the Girly District platform which is defamatory, obscene or otherwise infringes any law.
Disclaimers
Girly District does not promise that the Girly District platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, nor that it will provide specific results from use of the Girly District platform or any content, search or link on it.
The Girly District platform and its content are delivered on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.
Girly District cannot ensure that files you download from the Girly District platform will be free of viruses or contamination or destructive features although Girly District will take steps consistent with industry practice to protect against this occurring.
Girly District will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of Girly District platform, including without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental, and punitive and consequential damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Girly District makes no guarantee of any specific result from use of the Girly District platform or use of Girly District service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Girly District disclaims any and all liability for the acts, omissions and conduct of any third party users, Girly District users, advertisers and/or sponsors on the Girly District platform, in connection with Girly District service or otherwise related to your use of the Girly District platform and/or the Girly District service. Girly District is not responsible for the products, services, actions or failure to act of any venue, performer, or other third party in connection with or referenced on the Girly District platform.
Refunds, Cancellations, Changes and No-Shows
Girly District does not offer refunds or exchanges as a result of a change in your personal circumstances.
Girly District, Venue Owner, Operator may postpone, interrupt, cancel or stop the event due to dangerous adverse weather conditions or any other causes beyond reasonable control.
In the event of adverse weather conditions an alternative activity will be supplied.
No refunds or credit provided for no-shows or late arrivals. It remains the responsibility of the ticket holder to ensure they are at the designated area at the correct boarding time where applicable.
Girly District may add, withdraw or substitute artists or vary advertised programs, performance times, Venue/Operator or audience capacity. Tickets will not be exchanged or refunded as a result of these changes.
If an event is cancelled, rescheduled or significantly relocated, Girly District does not guarantee that ticket holders will be informed of such cancellation, rescheduling or relocation prior to the event. And as such is not liable for any auxiliary expenses (such as the cost of travel, car-parking, child-care and accommodation) or other consequential loss suffered by you in connection with your attendance or non-attendance at an event.
You should carefully consider the refund and cancellation policies of travel, accommodation and other goods or service providers when making arrangements for attendance at an event. You may also wish to consider taking out a relevant insurance policy to cover for any losses in the event of cancellation, rescheduling or relocation.
No Scalping or Other Unauthorised Sales
Tickets must not be resold or offered for resale at a premium or packaged, resold or otherwise offered for advertising, promotional or other commercial purposes (including competitions). If a ticket is sold or used in contravention of this condition, the ticket may be seized or cancelled without refund or exchange and the bearer of the ticket may be denied admission.
If Girly District reasonably forms the view that a ticket has been:
a) purchased with a stolen credit card;
b) sold via Scalping or Other Unauthorised Sales); or
c) has been otherwise purchased or acquired fraudulently, Girly District may cancel the ticket.
Privacy
By purchasing a ticket through Girly District, you consent to the collection, use, disclosure and handling of your personal information.
By purchasing a ticket through Girly District, you consent to photography, filming and recording which may be used in promotional material owned by Girly District.
Voluntary Assumption of Risk
You enter the Venue at your own risk.
You understand that attendance at any event and/or the Venue/Operator may carry with it certain dangers, including the risk of injury, death and damage to you or your property.
By attending the event and/or the Venue/Operator, you accept the risk of damage and loss (including property damage, personal injury, economic and consequential loss) howsoever arising (including by negligence) at the Venue/Operator. This includes damage or loss caused by the acts or omissions of other ticketholders, visitors, guests, and the employees and agents of Girly District, Venue and Operator.
Limitation of Liability
Girly District, Venue or Operator are not liable to you for any loss, damage, injury, delays, additional expenses or inconvenience arising as a result of your attendance or non-attendance at the Venue and/or the event. You understand there are substantial risks and dangers associated with boat, bus, shuttle, vehicle transportation, including but not limited to, entering/exiting, adverse weather, rough seas, tripping, falling and collision which may result in serious bodily harm or even death and or damage to property.
You agree to assume such risks and dangers (whether direct or consequential and whether arising under statute, from negligence, personal injury, death, property damage, or otherwise) and further release Girly District, Venue, Operator, and employees from all liability, claims or demands arising from bodily injury, death or damage to property.
General
These Terms and Conditions may be varied at any time. Any variations become effective on the day immediately after their publication on the Girly District website and apply to any purchases made after that date.
If any part of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it will be disregarded to the extent of its invalidity and the remainder of these Terms and Conditions will remain in full force and effect.
