German conductor Christian Schumann leads the MPO in an eclectic selection of 20th Century and contemporary music. The concert features the electrifying minimalistic orchestral work Emergence by contemporary Icelandic composer Daníel Bjarnason and Zoltán Kodály’s entrancing Dances of Galánta, which score is brimming with Hungarian folk elements. The programme comes to a triumphant close with Dmitri Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 9, also known as Shostakovich’s classical symphony due to its classically oriented form and conciseness.

No refund on tickets will be made under any circumstances unless otherwise instructed by the event organiser. In the case of a refund being issued for tickets bought, refund will be issued on the Ticket face value, and ShowsHappening booking fee will NOT be refunded.
Venue Owner reserves the right without refund or compensation to refuse admission to any persons whose conduct is disorderly or unbecoming.
The Promoter may add, withdraw or substitute artistes and/or vary advertised programmes, event times, seating arrangements and audience capacity without prior notice.
The Promoter/Venue Owner may postpone, cancel,interrupt or stop the event due to adverse weather, dangerous situations, or any other causes beyond his reasonable control.
Information is collected from those registering with www.showshappening.com in order to facilitate ticket purchase or other services available. This information is collected and used in accordance with ShowsHappening's Privacy Policy, which forms part of these conditions.
In the event of an event being cancelled, postponed or unsatisfactory, or in the event that Buyer is not allowed to watch the event for any reason, SHOWSHAPPENING cannot be held responsible for any liability including any costs whatsoever incurred by the Buyer in connection with the said event.
It is the ticket holder's responsibility to check the tickets.
Neither the Promoters nor ShowsHappening will be responsible for any damages, loss or injuries incurred at the Event, including loss or damage to property, however caused.
Unauthorised photography, video, audio recording and transmission of any Event, the performers and the performances is strictly prohibited.
By purchasing a ticket you will be deemed to have consented to being photographed, filmed and recorded. Your image may be used by the promoters in any materials relating to the Event and any future promotions. You will not be entitled to any compensation for this.
Late-comers may be refused admission or asked to wait and enter in appropriate moments to avoid causing disruption. No refund/exchange will be offered in such instances.
