The MYO joins forces with the MPO for their annual collaboration. The open-air concert will be under the baton of Spanish conductor Pablo González at Valletta’s Pjazza Teatru Rjal.
The captivating programme includes Felix Mendelssohn’s The Hebrides, and Invicta, inspired by the city of Senglea, by contemporary Maltese composer Alex Vella Gregory. The concert comes to a sublime end with Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8, an uplifting symphony inspired by Bohemian folk tunes of his native land.
