The Malta Summer Festival presents a chamber evening featuring Berlin Philharmonic Principal Violist Amihai Grosz and soprano Alma Sadé Moshonov joining MPO Principal Violist Nadia Debono, and pianist Christine Zerafa.
The two violas perform Frank Bridge’s oeuvre, a profound and significant work in the viola duo repertoire. Brahms’ trio is imbued with lush melodies and intricate harmonies, and Schubert’s poignant Sonata, transcribed for viola and piano, masterfully combines lyricism and virtuosity.
The concert is free of charge however booking is required.
This concert is part of the Malta Summer Festival presented by the MPO in collaboration with Arts Council Malta and Malta Tourism Authority with the support of Hilton Malta and the Ministry of Gozo.
