VIOLIN FANTASIES

One of Russia’s most famous young violinists Sergei Dogagin, who became a star since he won the first prize of the Tchaikovsky competition, will perform Alexey Shor's violin concerto ‘Phantasms’, at the Closing Concert of the Malta International Music Festival 2020 with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of internationally acclaimed Armenian conductor Sergey Smbatyan at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta, in a very varied programme which will also include Debussy’s La Mer and the famous Bolero by Ravel.
