Description

As part of the Malta Mediterranean Literature Festival 2025, All the Wor(l)d’s a Stage will take place on 26 August at 8 pm at Spazju Kreattiv. This event brings together performance, poetry, and playwriting to explore the power of the spoken and written word on stage. The featured guests of the event include Maltese playwright and actress Simone Spiteri, and Belgian poet and performer Maud Vanhauwaert, appearing as part of the Versopolis platform which supports emerging European poetic voices. Author and performer Keith Borg will lead the session, guiding the conversation on the convergences between literature, theatre, and live performance. The evening will feature readings and performances by Vanhauwaert and actors Kristjana Casha and Toni Attard. Our audiences will have the opportunity to purchase books by Simone Spiteri and will receive a free chapbook of Maud Vanhauwaert’s poems, translated by Clare Azzopardi and published by Inizjamed with the support of Versopolis.
