Description

After clashing in Sofia last summer, Malta host the 35-in-the-world ranked Bulgaria for the Medieval Shield at Marsa.

The Malta Knights are Malta's national rugby league team, they are one of the most successful Maltese national sporting teams in Malta's history.

The Malta Rugby League (MRL) look forward to your support of the mighty red and whites, MRL President Jean Pierre Zarb says: “We’re excited for our upcoming national team games. Last year we won both of our European based home and away internationals and we’re pushing for the same results this year. Our domestic players have been working hard during the summer and are eager to be selected.”

Both sides will announce their squads by Thursday 21st September, and the Bulgarians are looking forward to their Malta based community of Bulgarians in Malta to help create a spectacle while facing their Mediterranean adversaries.
