Description
Jointly organised by the Sovereign Order of Malta and The Most Venerable Order of St. John, this special event will feature the Band of the Armed Forces of Malta playing some of the most popular and much loved music including; Fireworks Music by G. F. Handel, Star Wars Overture by John Williams, Jerusalem by C.H.H. Parry, Guns of Navarone by Dimitri Tiomkin, Where Eagles Dare by Ron Goodwin among others.
The concert aims to raise urgently needed funds for two vital medical institutions:
Holy Family Hospital, Bethlehem – Managed by the Sovereign Order of Malta, this is the region’s only neonatal and critical maternity hospital, ensuring safe deliveries and specialised newborn care. Recent hostilities in Gaza have severely strained its resources, jeopardising life-saving operations.
St. John Eye Hospital, Jerusalem – Under the care of The Most Venerable Order of St. John, this hospital provides high-quality eye care to patients of all backgrounds, addressing 80% of curable eye conditions in the region. With over 140 years of service, it continues to restore sight and transform lives.
Due to the recent conflict in the region, these two hospitals are facing unprecedented challenges, making international support more critical than ever. Your support will directly contribute to sustaining these essential services, ensuring they can continue their life-saving missions in these difficult times.
